The Gregoryan's: September 2010

Every day is a busy one these days, especially with my little ones. I always seem to be rushing to get one task to the next done. Needless to say, time management is not one of my strengths. Those of you who have seen Dante in action, particularly in the tub, know that I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I literally have to say my prayers right before plopping him in the tub that he makes it out alive and not injured! Man oh man is this child OUT OF CONTROL in a bathtub! I mean he flip flops, goes face first in the tub, tries to drink the water, tries to stand, tries to climb, I mean the boy is literally crazy in the bath! I had to get him a little blowup bathtub to put inside the tub for fear that he will crack his head open on the side of the porcelain. I typically do not give both the kids a bath at the same time (which would be effective in time management) for this particular reason. However, Francesca begged and begged me to take a bath with her "baby" as she so sweetly calls him, that I just couldn't say no. It actually went well for about two minutes, just long enough to take a few pictures. Then the baby fish returned to his normal water behavior- leaped out of his aquarium and wiggled all over the place. I had high hopes that maybe this would work, but he just has a mind of his own when it comes to gettin' clean!!!

Francesca is really enjoying pre-school! They had their first event today, and it was Western Day. All the kids get to dress up in their favorite western gear as they are learning about the wild wild west! She was so excited to wear her cowgirl boots. We had a cute little denim outfit planned, but this girl of ours loves her some dresses! She just had to wear a dress to school today. So we picked something else out that would match her boots, then off she went!
